Ariel & Flounder Tsum Tsum.

The Little Mermaid has always been my favourite Disney film, so with that in mind I went searching for my favourite characters in Tsum Tsum form. I actually managed to find a selection of Tsum Tsum that aren't yet available in the UK, my little guys have come over from Japan and are the cutest things. Picking these up from eBay has certainly made my inner child a little bit happier. Now to add more to my collection...

Have you got any Tsum Tsum?

Clarins Autumn 2015.

Autumn is easily my favourite season. I love it when the leaves start to change colour and the evenings start getting a little shorter. And what I love more is the change in make up and fashion -it's finally okay to wear those dark colours you've been dreaming of and whip your jumpers back out.

As always Clarins are spot on with their Autumnal range for 2015. I was kindly sent a few items from the up and coming range to have a play around with, and I wasn't disappointed. I've been desperate to try a few new looks with make up and the new Ombre Matte eyeshadows in Carbon and Heather, allow me to do just that. I adore purple eye shadows with my bluey/grey eyes so I can't wait to create a smokey eye look with these colours.

Alongside the shadows I also received the two new shades in the Kohl pencils. Carbon Black and True Violet go gorgeously with the eye shadows. Although I'm not a huge eye liner fan, I can see me having a lot of fun playing around with these.

Finally I received an eyebrow pencil, which I was super excited about. I've recently converted to using a pencil for my brows and I find you get more precision and this one in Light Brown couldn't have come at a better time. I love the brush on the other end, it really helps to shape my brows and ensure I have an even coverage.

Will you be picking anything up from the new Clarins Autumn range?

Book Review: The Accident Season.

The Accident Season* was the latest book I've finished, so I thought it was time for another book review. The story follows a single-parent family and their lives living with a month every year known as the 'accident season'. During this month the family experience strange goings on and 'accidents' occurring. Around Halloween each year, the family must try their hardest to stay safe and avoid anything that could cause harm to themselves or others. The plot is narrated by Cara, the main character and follows her throughout, interacting with her best friend, sister and her step-brother.

The plot is really exciting and nothing like I've read before. I don't want to give too much away, but this will certainly have you on your toes. The story is dark and magical and gave me that 'I can't out it down feel'. If you're into Pretty Little Liars, I think you'll love this book as it carries the same mystery as PLL. This is a great read, especially if you're looking for something a little different from you're regular reads.

Precious Jewels.

I've always been a magpie when it comes to finding bargain jewellery. I adore rings, but I'm currently wearing four daily so to prevent myself from looking like a walking ring shop I've been investing in some necklaces.

I luckily spotted a few sale items in Topshop and managed to pick up two necklaces for just £4. I adore precious stones and this turquoise one is no exception. It's so pretty and I love the red contrast with the silver and blue. The second necklace I grabbed in the Freedom range at Topshop was this cute diamond-shaped perspex cube. It's so delicate and again I love the chain that adds a little more interest than a regular one.

I found my final piece in H&M whilst waiting for the hubby. This incredibly pretty gold chain is gorgeous and looks so much more expensive that it's £1 price tag. I can't wait to style this up with a plain white tee and skinny jeans.

Mayfield Alpaca Farm.

Last weekend we headed to Sheffield to visit some of my family and decided to stop off at Mayfield Alpaca Farm on the way. You all know I'm a HUGE animal fan and alpacas and llamas have always been some of favourite animals. The farm was full of alpacas and lots of other farm animals and I was completely in my element. My hubby even got really involved feeding and petting the alpacas. They were super friendly and pretty photogenic too. I had such a fun time and it was the perfect chance for a spot of fresh air!

The Go-To Summer Lip Combo.

I was lucky enough to win some Topshop make up products from Em Talk's last month. I've not bought anything from Topshop beauty for a while, and now I've been using more of their goodies, I'm beginning to wonder why. The range is so affordable and the make up feels high-end rather than high-street. I've been particularly loving the lip products I was sent, and they have become my go-to bright lip combo.

I was sent the lip stick in Applause and the lip liner in Disco. The formula of both products is gorgeous and the staying power is incredible. I wore this lip for a full day shopping, eating, drinking etc. and I only had to top up twice. The lip liner is incredible soft and blends seamlessly, I have certainly been converted to Toppers lip liners. The lippy is silky smooth and adds a pretty sheen to the lips, perfect for that day to night look.

I actually did my brows with the Topshop brow pencil too, which has replaced my old brow products. And just for reference my eye shadow is Charlotte Tilbury eye palette in Golden Goddess.

City Break Wishlist.

Untitled #77

This year is my sister's 21st so myself and my family are off on a little city break to Madrid in September. I'm prepared for it to still be pretty toastie in Spain at that time of year, but I always feel during a city break I need more sophisticated clothing rather than what I would by for a beach break. So I've been browsing the internet for some inspiration and I seem to have come up with a little boho-chic wishlist. I love autumnal colours and I think gorgeous browns, greens and reds are perfect for going into autumn and will look fab when I'm browsing the streets of Madrid.

Antipodes Worship.

I've always been a huge fan of facial serums. I'm usually drawn to oil-based serums, Balance Me facial oil is up there with one of my all time faves, so trying at water-based serum was certainly something new to me.

Antipodes is a brand I've lusted after forever, so I couldn't wait to try out the Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum*. Antipodes is a brand originating in New Zealand, the products are organic, vegetarian and all natural. The packaging is simple, sleek and looks gorgeously sophisticated on my bathroom shelf.

So what do I think of the product? Well in a word, it's love. The serum is a very strange colour, but this makes it all the clearer that there are no nasty additives in the product. A water-based serum is a really interesting concept, which I really like. The serum soaks in quicker than an oil-based serum and I don't have the same concerns about it getting in my hair or on my pillow. I've been using the serum before bed and allowing it to soak in overnight. This works perfectly for me for keeping any pimples at bay, as well as keeping my skin hydrated and happy in this warmer weather.

I've certainly been converted to Antipodes and I can't wait to try out some more of their product. Let me know your recommendations.

A Weekend in Wales.

This weekend myself and the hubby took an impromptu trip to Wales. It's our 4th wedding anniversary this coming Wednesday so we took advantage of the nice weather an booked a BnB to stay in. We live pretty close to Wales, so it was the perfect opportunity to spend some more time in one of our favourite places in the World.

We booked a gorgeous BnB in Guilsfield, just outside of Welshpool. The house was a stunning Georgian property and we ended up having our own living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom. We were well and truly spoilt by the owner and her gorgeous Golden Retriever, Dudley.

On Saturday, we had an explore of the nearby towns of Oswestry and Welshpool, spending our time browsing the cute shops and eating our way through the day. Saturday evening saw us enjoying a home-cooked meal from a local pub, that even catered for my food intolerances.

This morning we had a breakfast and headed up to Llangollen to the Pontcysllte Aquaduct. The aquaduct is a canal boat crossing, only wide enough for one boat and towers above the countryside. We had the perfect weather and could see for miles. After exploring the aquaduct, we headed into Llangollen town centre and found some really quaint shops to explore. The sun shone, so we got time to sit outside a pub over looking the river - bliss. The town is famous for steam trains and horse-drawn boats, I met Stanley the horse ready for the next boat trip.

As always we had a wonderful time in Wales and couldn't recommend visiting enough. If you're around the Chester/Wrexham area and haven't been to Llangollen, I would certainly make the trip.

Dairy Free Coconut Milk Ice Cream.

For those that don't follow me on Twitter, I'm now gluten AND dairy free, I've been struggling in this heat and desperately craving ice cream. I spotted this dairy-alternative coconut milk ice cream in Sainsburys and I knew I needed to pick some up.

There were a few different flavours to go with, but I obviously had to go with chocolate. Not being able to have milk chocolate is pretty rubbish, so anything chocolate flavour is straight in my basket. I'm a big fan of coconut flavours and will try anything coconut based, so this was no exception.

The Chocolate Snowconut dairy free alternative, is so so yummy. This stuff is seriously incredible. Of course it doesn't have the same creaminess as regular dairy ice cream, but the texture kind of sorbet-like. I can only describe this as tasting like a Bounty chocolate bar which is absolutely fine by me. This is quite sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth like me, you'll be able to eat the full tub in one sitting. However, if you're not keen on sweet things, you'll only need a few mouthfuls to get rid of that ice cream craving

If you're in the market for a dairy free alternative that isn't fruit flavoured, you need to invest in this. Yum, yum, yum.

Also if you have any dairy/gluten free products you love, I'd love to know your recommendations.
