Book Review: The Sun in Her Eyes.

I've been a fan of Paige Toon ever since I randomly picked up Lucy in the Sky when I was 16/17. Ever since I've been addicted to her books and always get incredibly excited when there is a new one on the horizon. I managed to pick up The Sun in Her Eyes on it's release date, ready for my holiday. I actually read the entire book in 2 days, which left me bookless for the rest of the trip, but it was so worth it.

The story follows Amber, an Aussie living in London. Amber heads back to Australia to see her sick father and old feelings creep back for her school mate Ethan. Despite being married to Ned, Amber finds herself increasingly distant from her husband and is left torn between two men. Amber is left making big decisions and finding out secrets about her life, that she never knew.

As always Paige's writing drew me and I couldn't wait to follow Amber's story right till the end. If you're looking for a good bit of chick-lit for your summer holiday or just want a light-hearted read, this is certainly the book for you.

  1. This sounds really good I love this style of book, I'm currently reading the girl on the train - not finished yet but it's a page turner if you haven't already read it.

  2. I almost picked this up last week and then I remembered I have a zillion books on my book shelf to read. I've only ever read one of Paige Toon's book and it didn't exactly wow me. Maybe I'll pick up this sometime and give her another chance. x
