Winter Wellies.

I've never been a huge fan of the rain, but this year I seem to be really appreciating those drizzly days. It's probably because England has been weirdly mild all year and I'd say we've been pretty lucky weather wise. So on the days it has been throwing it down, I've enjoyed that feeling of satisfaction when you're inside and you can watch the rain safely from your bedroom window.

However, when 'proper' winter does arrive I'm fully prepared in the foot wear department. After a three year relationship with my old wellies, I knew it was time for a change and I welcomed a gorgeous pair of Hunter* wellies into my life. Being as small as I am, I went for the Original Short Hunter Boots in Graphite, which is a super shiny and sleek grey colour. These are the perfect length on me and sit around halfway on my shin, so they don't make me look even tinier than I already am.

I love the design and quality of Hunter wellies. The sole has better grip than lots of wellies I've tried and they have a small heel, which adds a little sophistication. The buckle at the top of the boot can be adjusted, so if you want a tighter or looser fit these can be changed to suit you. The best thing about these boots is the comfort. I've had wellies in the past that have cut away at my toes or left me with blisters, but these Hunter boots are designed for comfort as well as being super practical and stylish.

I would 100% recommend picking up a pair of these if you're into spending time outside or you're looking forward to the winter season. I can see me getting a lot of wear out of these over the next coming months.

You can find a range of Hunter boots, as well as this pair at Shoetique here.

What footwear do you wear during winter?
