Toning and Trimming my Hair Extensions.

I recently went back to my hometown of Middlesbrough to visit my friends and family. Luckily for me, my little sister is a hairdresser and as my hair was in desperate need of a good sorting out, I went along to the salon and let Jane deal with my locks. I'm not sure how much you can tell on these photos, but I had some highlights out through and my hair on top is much lighter than it was previously. I also had a good toner put on the ends to get rid of the brassiness. I'm really happy with the colour, it has a much more natural look to it, plus it means I no longer have to keep on top of my roots all of the time.

Anyway, as I have a slightly different hair colour now, I needed to customise my Halo Hair* extensions so they fitted better with the colour. As well as toning them, I also gave them a trim so although they aren't as long as they were, they still give my hair a huge amount of volume (which it very much needs!).

Oh I need to apologise for the lack of make up in these photos, I was having a make up free day.

I'm really happy with how my Halo has turned out. I love the amount of volume it adds to my limp hair, I can see my Halo will be coming out and about more often.

  7. oooh they look great, really natural and voluminous- just what I need! xxx

  8. Were your extensions already curly or did you curl them afterwards? I can only find straight ones and many extensions don't take a lot of heat. Is it real hair? It certainly looks like it is.
