Superdrug's Hot Cloth Cleanser.

Superdrug's Naturally Radient Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser - £5.99 £2.99 (on offer)

As my Liz Earle cleanse and polish was coming to an end, I went on the hunt for a replacement. It's not that I don't love the C&P but I just fancied something new to try and maybe with a slightly smaller price tag. I'd heard so many things about Superdrug's own hot cloth cleansers, I just knew I needed to give them a go - especially as they are a fraction of the price of C&P. You all know I am a huge fan of Superdrug's own brand for ethical reasons and I'm sure plenty of you will be happy to hear that this cleanser is not only cruelty free, but also paraben free.

I went in with the intention of picking up the Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser, as I didn't realise they did more than one, I took this to the till and didn't think anymore of it until I opened it. Obviously, I picked up the wrong one, but I am so glad i did. I love it when you stumble across a new product by accident, that you really enjoy.

This has the exact same consistancy as the C&P, and comes out really nice and thick, which was one of the things I was worried about buying a hot cloth cleanser elsewhere. I actually prefer the packaging on this that the C&P - I've always have the pump bottle and it irritates me to think there might be some left in the bottom, that the pump can't reach. So this is much better for me, and I like to have control over how much I get out too.

This comes with a muslin cloth, but I still use my Washi cloths - which you can buy here. Or I use this with my No7 Facial Brush depending on how my skin is feeling. I think for the price, it's amazing that you actually get the cloth with it, and I managed to get this when it was on offer too!

Lastly, the smell. I have always been a huge fan of the Liz Earle scent. I know it's not for everyone but I've always found it quite yummy and really enjoyed it. The smell of this is much stronger I would say, however I really love it. It's very comforting and calming - very different to the Liz Earle scent. I would say oaty and lavendery - even though there is no lavender in it..

This is a gorgeous alternative to Liz Earle, and for the price I will certainly be picking up another bottle of this  and giving the Vitamin E one a go.

Have you tried this or the Vitamin E one?

Katie xx
