My Twenty-Twelve Favourites.

It seems appropriate to do a yearly favourites, rather than my December favourites. So I've picked my best beauty buys for the last year, all of which have a firm place in my beauty/hair regime.

Hair Care:

Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo - This is literally THE best thing EVER. I've had this dry shampoo since about October time, I use it about 3 or 4 times a week (maybe more if I'm feeling lazy) and there is literally a fifth of the bottle gone. I can imagine this lasting until at least the summer time. It's £6.50 for 115g which when you think how quickly you go through a bottle of Batiste that's really good value. I did a full review here.

Tangle Teezer - Yes, this year I bought not one, but two Tangle Teezers. I picked up my first one during the summer (I think) then the travel one later this year - to take to uni. I threw all of my hair brushes out after discovering these. I genuinely have no idea how I got through life without my Tangle Teezer - my hair is in SO much better condition thanks to these. Review here.

Superdrug Mango Copper Burst Hair Dye - I've bought this so many times now I've lost count. This is the perfect colour for my hair and the perfect price - it's usually on offer 2 for £4.99. You all know my love for Superdrug due to their veggie and animal testing policies. I will always, always go back to this dye (well for as long as I stay ginger!).  Review here.

Make Up:

MUA Every Lash Mascara - It's taken me approximately 10 years to find 'my mascara' - but this year I found it. And yep, it's £3. MUA is a brand I've loved since day one but I was always dubious about buying a 'cheap' mascara just cos it's going near my sensitive eyes. However, I have repurchased this several times and it is just perfect. I really love the brush - it gives just the right amount of volume and length to my lashes. I haven't done a full review yet but I will be doing one in the New Year!

Body Care:

Tesco's Wake Up Shower Gel - I adore Original Source but when it's not on offer I just can't afford it. Most places do their 'own brand' version and Tesco is no different. I've picked up a few of Superdrug's in the past which are really lovely but they just don't match up to this one. I don't know whether it's just cos I love cinnamon but this is my favourite shower gel ever. These are £1 in Tesco and they do a variety of flavours, I'm hoping that there are still some of these left before they disappear off Tesco's shelves until next Christmas!

Face Care:

Origins Modern Friction - Okay, I know I only got this in Decemeber, but it is already a staple in my face care routine. I haven't got round to doing a full review yet cos I wanted to give it a good go, but I will be getting one up asap. This is the first Origins product I've tried and I am really, really impressed.

Washi Cloths - I was sent a pack of Washi cloths and towels back in November. And I haven't gone back to my muslin cloth since. I won't go on about them too much - but here is my full review.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - I don't think much needs to be said about this, as everyone knows about this brand. This is the product I've been searching for and I love using it EVERY single day. It's actually a pleasure to wash my face.

What have been your 2012 favourites?

Katie xx
